Cant complete baby quest after baby proofing

Ok so I just finished doing the "Baby Proofing" step of the baby quest, and then suddenly the whole quest and all the progress disappeared and it made me start from the beginning. Several people have had this problem in different spots but I couldn't find out how to fix it. Please fix this its really annoying
