Cannot start a new portal server: Global Game Quota Exceeded

I created my first Experience in BF 2042 Portal, and when I tried to host it in BF 2042 - I got an error "GLOBAL GAME QUOTA EXCEEDED // 9:13C: -17461111940"

What is the problem?

We've just performed a mass restart of all #Battlefield Portal Servers Apologies for the disruption, many of you were just kicked back to the main menu.

This was done as a continuation of our efforts to reduce bad behaviours across Battlefield Portal 

Keep an eye out here for any updates.

There's probably a quota on the # of games the servers can host at one time, - I'm in the same boat atm.

Same issue (Germany). I hope they did consider that a lot of players just want to play their own set of games...

Too many have created servers to boost vs 1hp AI, EA/DICE should've seen this coming a mile away

I would gladly pay a monthly fee for Portal as I do with Fallout 1st so I can play the game with my friends against AI and avoid cheaters and boosters etc. 

This is why we can't have nice things.

I would too, but I would expect if they go the "Private Server" route, those private servers can run up to 127 BOT's

I guess this means that they didn't anticipate that many people actually playing the game? The whole thing seemed to be about how anyone could make a server to play in.

The server browser is packed with "1hp eZY KILLZ & VEHICULE" It did give me a chuckle seeing it.

Honestly, I don't care what people do with portal, I just want to play with my friends, and avoid hackers/cheaters/toxic people, exactly the same reason I sub to Fallout 1st.

The easiest solution, make presets for each mode with some flexibility in some basic things like mixed squads w/ AI etc, but give same XP official portal modes give. It's just weird when someone creates basically a clone of an official portal mode, yet the official gets all the bells and whistles for progression but the community hosted mode gets restricted.

The easiest solution, disable XP/Progression on Portal, problem solved OR create strict rules as to whether an option enables or disables xp/progression, IE: anything below Hardcore health preset = no progression in that server

How the heck do you disable XP/Progression on portal? I see zero options. Or are you saying they should add it?
