Cannot play against friends on Fifa 21 PS5

Hi, whenever I attempt to play friendlies against my friends on fifa 21, it keeps on coming up with add friends to be able to play. However I do have friends added and it only happens on ffia and not any other game. Can anyone help?

@damianfr1208 I found the problem. Make sure both you and your friend are playing on the same version. Do that by going to ffifa 21 - 3 dots - then you can choose ps4 or ps5 version. Enjoy

It says get some multiplayer games. You need to install a game that supports multiplayer, however fifa does?

I can't really screenshot right now, however it only happens in fifa. I press new friendly season and it says the following:

Add friends to be able to play against them and track your season history in online friendlies.
