Cannot load new maps after update

After the update, when a gamemode changes maps my screen flashes half white and it goes back to the previous end game screen (scoreboard,etc). It's gets stuck there.

Anyone know a fix? I can't play more than one map at a time without exiting back to menu.

I am running a GTX 2080 with the latest Nvidia drivers. I've also reinstalled the game.

This may be related to this bug, as I'm pretty sure I'm seeing that white flash before or after it optimizes shaders.
