Cannot connect to server

Hello,

I moved to Italy from the States about a month ago and since I moved I have not been able to access the servers.  I was hoping to subscribe pre-expansion, but I don't want to waste my money if I cannot access the servers.  I am fine creating new characters on a different server if I have to, but I cannot access American, or European servers for the time being.

Any ideas?

Are you getting a specific error message or what is happening when you try to access the severs. Can you attach a screenshot of what you are seeing?

I attached the Screenshot, its just a "can't connect to server message."  I'm not capable of restarting my router because of where I live too so I'm not sure what to do here.

Try adding swtor.exe and launcher.exe to your anti-virus and firewall safe list.  If you have one of the following Anti-Virus programs, try making the suggested change:

ESET - disable protocol filtering
Kapersky - disable scan secure/encrypted connections
Nortons (firewall) - ensure exceptions are set to allow not auto
AVG - disable link surf scanner shield

For Norton I had both at allow, still didn't work.

Are there any traffic rules or anything else I should check?

Have you tried tethering to your mobile data and try to access the server ? this will be a good way to test a different connection
