Go to Settings / Windows Defender Security Center / Ransomware Protection and add the BF5 executable as an exception under "Folder Protection"

I’m on Xbox and deleting my “reserved space” doesn’t work. Any other ideas? Just got the Xbox one x bundle, downloaded the game and haven’t been able to play yet. Not happy! Please help

Thank you so mutch! Weird that EA does't advice this solution since so many gamers seem to have this problem and the fix is actually realy easy.

If you're still struggling, deleting your "reserved space" also works for Xbox One
