GOOD NEWS

I found a solution in an old forum post. You will have to access your game managing (basically look at all files downloaded and attached) and choose to delete your "reserved space". Once you do that, access the game again and start it up. You SHOULD be able to download the interface update and keep going.

When I launch BF5 I get an error message saying "can not start JS bundle" after which it prompts me with a message saying update required for interface. However, it wqill not let me click update. when I click cancel it brings me to the main menu with a message saying "connection lost" it has a button to connect but it does nothing.

game worked fine yesterday and nothing I seem to do works.

Can not start JS bundle

Signature check for JS bundle failed!

Bundle manager will now try to load last known working bundle.

UPDATE REQUIRED

You need to download and install this user interface update to play online.

UPDATE   OR   NOT NOW

when i press update it doesn't work

I'm on Xbox and when i press RT to connect

You have lost connection to the EA servers

Online features will be unavailable. Please try again.

Please check ea.com/unable-to-connect for more information.

Hey hey, me again, idk if you read my comment I'd posted above your's. No worries, I got a solution. I'm also on Xbox.

Simply go to manage game to view everything installed, related to BFC. Then go down to saves. You'll see a personal save and "reserved space". Delete reserved space. Choose to start the game. You'll be propmted to accept terms and conditions again etc. But then you should be able to download the update and begin playing online. If you do that and it says that update is installed but it's just been loading afterwards for like, 10 minutes, close the game and load again. You should be good to go immediately! See you on the battlefield!

Hey everyone,

Try doing this work around to re-download the update trigger.:

    1. Go to the game on the menu screen,
    2. Click manage game.
    3. Go to your saved data and
    4. Delete the reserved space.
    5. When you start the game again it will make you to agree to the terms and it will prompt you to start the game and then it will download the update.

Thanks uh, this has already been stated twice tho. It does work. Just saying, we've solved it on our own.
