Can't subscribe because of extremely high traffic

I am unable to make any purchases on swtor.com, i have even redeemed a referral link and my account is still on preferred status. 

I have linked my account to steam, this might be the reason for this problem but im uncertain.

Any help would much be appreciated.

Same, my account ran out today and I was going to renew but I can't access it because it says it's down due to high traffic. Is this really the case or am I having an issue?

You need to login on the EA account with the persona darknovalt that account uses a hotmail email address, once that account has had a password reset then the swtor account

I have Changed my swtor Email to the original EA account Email.

I still can't make purchases.

Do I need to change swtor Password?

Since i Have changed the EA one.

Swtor Support told me

"Please do not purchase subscription from the swtor website or the Steam unless the issue with the EA account is resolved or the game time will not update with the account"

But im able to purchase Cartel Coins Via Steam, I'm Quite confused.

Ok now im very Confused

I can buy Coins  on Swtor as long as it is more than 200 coins. I don't understand, is there actually traffic?

will check on the account status , but try using incognito mode on chrome as it can be a cached browser issue now if you have reset the password

Does Work To make Purchases, For the time being ill wait before I sub just in case, something goes wrong.

A few days ago I used a referral Link and I was awarded the Unlocks but I never Received Game time.

Is the Game time recoverable or is it lost ?
