Sorry to hear about this issue you're experiencing.
Have you tried any of the Connection Troubleshooting steps via the link below?

Also, when you try to find matches, are you using Quickmatch or Server Browser?
Sometimes Quickmatch tends to put you in empty servers, so Server Browser would be the better option.
