Can't get game to play after install

I can't get PvZ GW2 to start after install on Xbox one. I've installed and uninstalled multiple times but keep getting into the same loop.

Here's what's happening:

• Installation appears to go ok
• Click on game and this message appears "we are unable to get your latest saved data" with 2 options TRY AGAIN  and USE OFFLINE. The game has never been played so there is no saved data. TRY AGAIN just gets you in a loop, the only option that allows you to progress beyond this point is USE OFFLINE.
• This starts the game and the intro section runs. Prompt for terms and conditions appears which I accept
• Final message is  "can't connect to EA servers"

My network connection seems fine as I've downloaded PvZ GW2 updates as part of the install process.

How can I fix this? Thanks

Try signing out of your Xbox Live account and re-sign in.

Try removing your network settings//connection and re-connect.

Try removing Local Save Data and relaunching the game

Try fully powering off your console, unplug is from the wall once it's fully off, push the power button a few times,  replug and turn on

This is EXACTLY the same issue we are having, but on PS4.

Thanks for your help. Signing out of Xbox live and signing back in worked. I got a prompt to sign into EA account and this let me into the game
