Games default me to random ping site, can't choose closest ping site

I am having this issue now on PS4. I should be playing with United Kingdom ping (38ms) since i am from Portugal. But my game auto launches in Australia's ping (352ms). I can never find a populated server. 98% of the time its just me in the server. Is there already a fix for this problem? Or a way i can bypass it??

I did this and it solved the ping problem indeed. Now my gsme is connected to servers with nearest ping. But i still only launch into servers without any player.  I cant find any populated servers. Its always just me.

EA, DICE Please Help Us. We just want to play the game we bought becayse we are star wars and Batglefront II fans. Please just use all your resources into solving this. Come on its your job. We can't play this game although we want to.

It's been over 3 weeks now since I started this thread and the problem still persists.

Can you tell us ANYTHING other than "we have no update as yet" or " the specialists are looking into it"?

Surely they've given you some kind of feedback or time-frame by now?

Please respond, people are getting angry (again) and a few months back you lot promised to improve your communication!

@ea_ataashicome on its been two weeks and i havent played a game i payed money and so much time and effort into this game for it not to work properly even 90% of the time now it wont even let me in a game and when it does its an empty lobby i did the fixes you suggested on page one and it reset my ping to the right region. but now i cant get into a proper game with people. its been two weeks and there are soo many people who need helo from you and we havent heard a thing. at least let us know youre working on it. jeez no wonder this game gets so much hate. help us!!!!!!1

And now posts on this forum for different topics and with last replies of days or weeks ago are seemingly being bumped to the top of the pile in what should show in last reply order!?

This can only be described as either another broken system or...

An attempt to silence us on this issue without actually removing all trace of it! 

Which is it?

Don't like being skeptical (honest) or paranoid but you gotta admit this looks suspicious!

Try forwarding your ports on PC. It fixed it for me.

Just an obligatory daily comment to bump the thread back to the top of the pile and keep it highlighted.

Not that anyone at EA is paying any attention or responding anymore (on anyone's topic threads) regarding this game-breaking issue.

Will keep doing this though until someone gives us some kind of acceptable answer on when this will be fixed...

• You read the post and changed all the capital letters.
• Proved in the process that you are monitoring these forums and have seen the continued cries for help regarding this topic.
• Will have seen that what people (including myself) are getting most frustrated by is the return to ignorance/lack of communication from EA.

And still you decided not to comment on it?
