Games default me to random ping site, can't choose closest ping site

Could you try this workaround and tell me if it's working for you?

• If you're playing on PS4, try to disconnected your device from the Internet network while being in the game menu, so the "Lost connection to EA servers" message pops out. Then try to reconnect your PS4 and check if you're using the correct ping site now.

Could you try the PS4 workaround with disconnecting the network as well? We did some testing and it worked on PC too.

But please bear in mind, that's it's a temporary solution. We're still working on a solid fix.

I decided to unistall the game and reinstall it. 

I ll tell you if this solution work or not.

Hi @DarthClippy

On PC, we recommend using the disconnect-reconnect workaround. Go into the EA account menu, pick the ping site you want and then exit the menu. Then disconnect and reconnect. And after that stay away from that menu unless they need to really need to change some settings there or read the documents.

That did not work for me. :-(

I think I figured out the problem. I noticed that Fortnite uses a similar port as Battlefront. I also noticed that the Epic game Launcher was set on my machine to open at Start up. So I disabled it and some others from my start up and then I restarted my machine and tried to play and it is working fine now.

So maybe try simplifying the applications that run at start up.
