Is anyone else having issues setting process affinity on the apex process? I have a Ryzen 1700X CPU and I keep OBS and whatever game I am playing on separate CCX's to minimize cache latency and latency caused by CCX hopping. I use Process Lasso to automatically set and remember process affinity settings for all my apps and it is not able to change Apex's affinity. When I try to set it manually in Task Manager it says that I am not able to.

You should set the origin.exe affinity and/or priority. Any game you start from origin will inherit the settings.

i have the threadripper and also am trying to change the priority and affinity. i havent found a fix yet. but with other games i was easily hitting 144fps. on this game im having 70-80 frames. being able to change it would definitely increase my fps.

Ditto. I can hit 144+ FPS on all my games with a GTX 1070, but I am stuck between 90-110 FPS while streaming. It isn't terrible in that the game and stream don't stutter, but I would like to optimize the processes a little.

Same here. Please change this EA, this is important for streamers.

Interesting. I will give that a try tonight.

Fan-freakin-tastic!! Setting the CPU affinity on origin.exe did, in fact, set the CPU affinity on Apex Legends. Though I will note that process PRIORITY was not inherited.
