Can't Buy Cartel Coins

So I'm trying to buy some Cartel Coins for SWTOR, but it isn't letting me. I've checked if transactions are enabled on my account and they are, however it won't let me change my payment method as the current registered one is outdated, Every time I've tried to use/register a new card, it says "We're sorry, but we can't perform transactions to this card. Please load another one." but my card works perfectly fine everywhere else?

try removing the payment method from the "linked" EA/origin account

How do I ensure they're connected because I never linked them. Not manually, anyway,

Provide the swtor username and i can check if it is linked to the account your posting from (when CS come online in about 10 hrs)

normally the email used when the swtor account was created would of created an EA account with that email if it didn't exist prior per https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/star-wars/star-wars-the-old-republic/swtor-account-linked

I've had the account from forever ago but I recently came back to the game and changed the email and stuff to my current one. The same one is used with my EA/Origin account.

updating swtor email now to an email used by another ea account doesnt change linkage to the original ea account

I'm starting fresh anyways so would it be ideal to just create a whole new account altogether?

I guess that would confirm the issue with the payment lays with the old linked account or not
