Sibling wanted to play the trial on their account, so they decided to get EA Access for their account. Whenever they try to launch the game/trial, it either asks “Do you own this game?” or “You need an EA Access membership to play this game trial.”
Xbox has been rebooted, power cycled, and game has been deleted and reinstalled with no luck.

Please let us know if the following workaround helps here (it can be undone if there is no effect):
Remove the setting on the account which lists the console as the "home console" and reboot device before retrying.
Setting > Personalisation> My home Xbox > Change from Home Xbox to Not Home Xbox.
