Can I redeem a legend edition code if it is not available in game?

I have been particularly interested in the Pathfinder and Loba editions (Full Metal Robot+First Blood HAVOC and Arms Dealer+Silver Lining 30-30) lately, but they are not available on the in-game store right now. If I purchase a digital download code for either one from Amazon, Walmart, etc., can I still redeem the bundle in-game? I really want the legendary skins in these bundles, but I just don't want to waste my money on a code that won't work.
