My and some of my friends cpu temperatures are about 5-10 degrees celcius higher in the main menus and between games than in the actual game itself.
This is ridiculous, how does that even happen.
very strange bug I have no idea how the developers could have managed this one.
Anyone else getting this?
I think it's important its looked at quite quickly, the menus are like their own stress test and I don't want to stay in them for long for fear of my cpu's health.
EDIT:

This is the technical issues section of the BFV forum - a place where gamers help fellow gamers troubleshoot, solve or find workarounds for technical issues.
I don't know of any workaround for this.
I believe the menu system and its background is rendered the same way as the main game, so the things you see in the background are actually a loaded map and since there's a lot of effects on that map and it's the first time game assets are being loaded that will be quite a bit of a strain on a system.
I would have preferred a lightweight menu as well.
In any case, I don't see this as a technical issue or a bug it's just regular feedback with a suggestion to make the menu more lightweight and as such this post probably belongs on the official forum instead of Answers HQ.

Thanks for the info, ill report it as a bug.
I think it should be considered a technical issue, its unacceptable that the menu of the game is more intensive and stressful on my pc than the actual game is, its bizzare.
