@x_Ak1504_x I got an i5-6600k without hyperthreading i changed the value in the last row to 4. also tried 8. Maybe it got a few fps better but its hard to compare. I have a RX590 Nitro+ 8GB.. it should be good enough for 60 fps at low..

Worked for me as well. I'm using a 4790k with GTX 1080. CPU usage back to 40 from 80%.

Will this (lower the used threads to 4) work on 7700K (which is a 4 cores, 8 threads cpu)?

I was under the impression that more cores to use will yield better fps, not the reverse

How do you create a user.cfg file with notepad??? And do I just open file location from the shortcut and put the file there or somewhere else?

Now it 30-70%.
