I keep getting connection lost messages over and over. I can't do anything in my game. PLEASE HELP!

I apologize for not getting back in here to describe in detail what was going on and what I did. First of all, the issue is solved. Secondly, what I did to remedy the issue was to simply uninstall the google play services app which then promted a "would you like to uninstall the latest update" message. I clicked yes, cleared the cache, then restarted my device. The google play services app updated itself again. I then opened SWGOH and it worked fine.
