Booted every game

My wife and I play Apex together on the same network. For maybe the last month, every-time we queue up, right before the character selection screen, one of us gets booted and a team of two is loaded into the game. It seems completely random as far as who gets booted. We have no network connectivity issues. I’ve tried exiting the game entirely and re-entering. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling the game. I’ve seen similar questions but not this one exactly.
