Didn't work... > WHY??? *! It's crashing. On every map. And I have 100% CPU usage. WHY?? Why can't EA make a game without this issues?? I have 60 fps, but crashing. On every map. Why? Any fix? PLS!

Does anyone know how to fix this issue with the resetting notepad? The notepad file resets everytime I click something in BF2, removing the necessary adjustments. Only in BootOptions btw.

@BiA_Rodolfo This was actually the fix that worked for me... out of everything in this thread, this simple thing was the one.

Entering the battle over jakku in the xwing, i'd kill 3 TIEs and then it would freeze and ctd, for all other fixes, then I tried this... this one tiny fix, just turning off direct x 12, worked and made the game fully playable again. Thanks

it actually kinda help me a bit, crashing freezing, and high cpu usage (kinda) is gone but i still facing 30-40 fps idk whats the problem. I tried all low settings.
