Battlefront 2 not Launching

Game is not launching.

When I click play, Origin minimizes, my loading wheel comes up for a second then Origin reopens with no Game being loaded. I have updated windows, updated drivers, put the settings folder on my desktop, its a fresh install of origin, and have uninstalled and reinstalled the game. I have also deleted the .exe files and repaired and launched still with no beneficial outcome.

My PC is above and beyond able to run the game. It just won't Launch it.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey even though origin had just updated the game and i had tried to repair twice, if you right click on the game and click update it downloaded like another 300mb file and works now.

I'm sorry to hear that any troubleshooting steps haven't been effective so far 

I'm not sure if you've tried this already, but could you run Origin and the game as admin, close any background applications and eventually, perform a clean boot?

I just downloaded the feb 2019 update and im having a similar issue, please help.

Delete the settings folder in your documents.

Fixed it for me, just make sure to lower your volume when starting the game.

Sorry, which folder do you mean? There is a lot of them!

C:\Users\*YOURNAME*\Documents\STAR WARS Battlefront II\settings

Delete the folder named "settings"
