Battlefront 2 isn't recognizing mfplat.dll

Quite simply. I have the file on my pc, but Battlefront continues with the 0X7E error. It doesn't make sense.

It did not work. I've tried multiple different solutions, reinstalled the game several times, nothing appears to be working. A quick file search shows that I do indeed have the mfplat.dll file on my PC, but nevertheless Battlefront still gives the 0x7E error.

It is probably still worthwhile installing that media pack.

Particularly with newer operating systems, secondary game installs can be skipped so you should search your game install location for *.exe and then right click and run each of the vcredist files as an administrator and either install or repair those.
