Battlefield V Freezes then Crashes (to desktop)

I am having an issue where Battlefield V freezes for around 5 seconds then crashes to desktop.

It might be a coincidence but it usually happens when I'm ADS and/or in the middle of a game.

I have installed the latest GPU drivers (I have a 1080ti).

I have also tried other troubleshooting options such as:

Running Origin and BFV as administrator

Clearing the cached memory in Windows

Re-installing the game

Repairing the game through origin

Applying compatibility solutions under the bfv.exe properties menu

Closing all "overlay" applications

But nothing seems to work.

If you have any suggestions on what I could do, please reply.

@FrogeLegs temps are good actually very good.
i guess the new drivers will fix the issue and the new hotfix incoming will do the same
is the problem still recurring now?

what are your CPU/GPUs temps? is your pc a laptop or a desktop?
did your check your memory modules for fails? (memtest86 program)
did you update your GPU drivers?

My CPU temp is around 32-40 degrees (32 when idle, 40 when running programs. It goes up to around 45 degrees when gaming.)
My GPU temp stays right around 30-31 degrees, it goes up slightly when gaming.
I uninstalled my graphics driver and downloaded NVIDIA's driver auto-detect software and installed the latest driver.
My memory modules and everything else to do with my memory seems fine.

I just downloaded the latest GPU drivers (released today) and the hotfix or whatever you wanna call it for BFV and everything's working now.
I'll accept your second reply as a solution.

It's not the solution. I have both the driver installed and the "hotfix".
CTD happens more frequently now than before the fix.

This happens to me too. Freezes for 5 sec adn then crashes. becoming mroe frequent. super annoying!
