Battlefield V download stuck at "finalising"

Hello. My BFV download is stuck at "finalising" on the origin client. Then, shortly after, it tells me that there has been an error during the update. It tells me one or more of my files being updated is possibly in use. It then tells me to try restarting my computer, which I've already done.

Im also confident that I've closed any conflicting files/apps.

I've also tried googling my issue, but without much help.

I am honestly not sure what to do at this point.

2. Manually Uninstall Origin: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/origin/origin/manually-uninstalling-origin/

3. Run Origin as Administrator

Try these steps, and see if the download finishes for you.

Every single time theres an update of a game or a new game download.
This * * pops up.
How the * has EA not fixed this ? Its been years, if you google this problem, its been happening for a * decade

I don't understand why I should do these steps each & every single time theres an update or a fresh download of a new game.
Someone on the Origin client team, needs to be fired.

@Ozmourne Small trick I do with stuck on finalizing on win 10 is...

1-close origin fully

2- Set origin to run in compatibly mode win 8

3- Open origin let it do its thing

4- When game is updated close origin again fully and remove compatibly mode win 8 .. If you keep it on compatibly mode win 8 you lose DX12 :/

Also look on line for Origin to download it acts up a bit less then Origin thin on win 10.

Im on the ea app and its stuck finalizing i was going to close it to try to download it on steam and it wont let me cancel the download its been finalizing for 2 hours please help

@ChasingChances update used the force restart button on the ea app worked instantly
