November 2019
Just installed a new SSD and have started playing BFV on wayyy better graphics. Only problem is this - it crashes often when things are loading, and I can't even get into any games. For example, when I am loading the server browser, or maybe loading the tides of war awards, I get a soft crash - it freezes for like 3 seconds and then just goes back to my desktop like nothing happened.
I have already completely reinstalled windows (formatting the entire PC and starting from scratch), redownloading the game, repairing the game and reinstalling Origin. This is a real bummer because Battlefield is my fav game and now I can't play it. All other games work, including fallout 4 and subnautica, so I don't think it's any sort of hardware issue.
My specs:
Cpu - Ryzen 5 1600
Gpu - GTX 1060 3gb
RAM - 8GB
SSD - Western Digital SATA
I've been playing BFV since launch and ive had only maybe 2 crashes before, now I can't get into a single game.
