Battlefield V frequently freezes, audio becomes loud and starts skipping, then crashes returning to the Xbox One home screen. Occurs in loading screens, menus, at the beginning and end of matches, when spawning, dying, and at any other time even if not moving.
Solved! Go to Solution.

Can you try deleting the personal saved data? It's possible this will delete offline progress though. To do that, highlight the Battlefield V tile. Then, hit the button to the right of the guide button on your controller. Next, go to Manage game & add-ons. Then, go to Saved Data. Delete the data here, but don't choose to delete from everywhere. Try playing again after that and let me know if it helps.

Hi there, @Warpig133.
I'd like you to power cycle your equipment with the following steps: unplug your modem, router and console. After 2 minutes plug in the modem and router. Let them come back online completely. Then plug in your console and start it up. Let me know if that helps or not. Thanks!

This didn't help, game still freezes the same way.

Thanks for trying. Next, try clearing your alternate MAC address with these steps -
Go to your Xbox One Settings (Just press Start, then click Settings)
Go to "Network", then "Advanced Network Settings"
Click on "Alternate MAC Address", and then click "Clear"
If that doesn't help, you may need to delete and reinstall.

Hey, I’m having the exact same problems. It will play for a random amount of time and then crash. Has ranged from working for 20+ minutes to like 5. I’ve already had to reset my router and IDs before hand but I think that it might be a patch or something cause when the game came out originally it worked perfectly fine. I just want my battlefield to work cause I don’t wanna have to go back to COD.

Hi there, @UnwisestPants.
Are you playing on a wired or wireless connection? If on wireless, can you switch to a wire and see if that helps?
