I am getting random crash when playing Battlefield V that make my computer freeze and reboot.
It happen in game and also in menus, I don't get any blue screen or error messages.
I am playing other games and I am not running into the same issue with any other games.
I have tried all the proposed solution from this thread but without any success so far

I have a pretty solid computer with the following specs:
- CPU Intel i7 -8700K (no overclock)
- GPU Nvidia GTX 1080 (no overclocking, driver version 419.17)
- 16Go Ram
I have tried the following mentioned fixed without success:
- use direct 12
- clean boot (no program conflict)
- Repair from Origin Client
- Clear the Origin Client cache
I have the following settings in BF V:
- screen mode Borderless (tried with full screen as well)
- DX12 Enabled on
- NVIDIA DLSS off
- Frame limiter 120
- Future Frame Rendering off
- Vertical Sync on
- GPU Memory Restriction ON
- Graphic Quality set to HIGH
It's happening really often, and from what I have seen online I am not the only one with that issue.

@TuuZze That is bizarre, the only time my PC has shut down as you described was when my GPU was failing. I recommend running a windows integrity scan to make sure there's nothing wrong with your OS as described here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4026529/windows-10-using-system-file-checker
If that comes back with no issues I'd run an error check on your OS drive by right clicking your OS partition, clicking on properties, click on the tools tab, then click "check now". Also keep the first box checked and also check the second option box "scan for an attempt recovery of bad sectors". This will require a reboot of your machine and will take a while so I recommend you to run it overnight or before you leave for work.
After the scan log in and try playing BF5 again.
