I've had this problem for a while, every time i try to play Battlefield 1 it goes straight to the error reporter. No black screen, not even a loading signal, it just goes straight to crashing everything. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, rebooting, and repairing, but they haven't worked.
Any ideas?

Hey @RatInsideAMaze,
Sorry you're experiencing this issue.
Have you tried any other steps to resolve this?
I noticed you said you uninstalled/reinstalled, but I wasn't sure if you meant Battlefield 1 or Origin, so I included the steps below for Origin.
Here's some that might help:
1. Clear Origin Cache:
https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/clear-cache-to-fix-problems-with-your-games/
2. Manually Uninstall/Reinstall Origin, if you haven't already:
https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/origin/origin/manually-uninstalling-origin/
3. Make sure you have the Origin in-game Overlay turned off in Origin, and the Battlefield 1 game properties in Origin
4. Create a new Temporary Windows Account, and try launching Battlefield 1 under that Account
5. Make sure you have the most recent version of Origin installed
Try these steps and let us know if you still need assistance.
Thanks

@RatInsideAMaze Hi,
Have you tried to run a clean boot on your PC and turn off your antivirus and windows defender?

I tried that, but it didn't seem to change anything. It still jumps straight to the error screen.

Maybe you mixed up REboot and CLEANboot. Cleanboot mean to wipe the hole PC and start over by reinstalling every application after it is cleared. I could also recommend to uninstall Origin and then use a registry cleaner like CCleaner to remove left over files and folders. Also:
- Is windows up-to-date including all of its components?
- What version of windows do you have?
- What Language is Windows and your Origin installation?
- Is Origin and it's games installed on the C:\ drive / Windows drive?
- Has Origin ever functioned normally and when did it stop to function?
