Ban was overturned but still cant log in

So I'm kind of at a loss on this issue and am hoping a community manager or another player with a similar experience might be able to help.

I tried to play apex for the first time since 2019 and turns out my account got banned in 2023 so I contacted customer services about being unbanned and they overturned the ban which was great. I went to login to apex through steam and got to the main menu. After about 30 seconds I got kicked back to the login screen with "The client's game account has been banned".

So I contact support again and I get an update saying it requires me to respond to continue so I go to the EA help page and see I can open up a live chat. The first live chat breaks when I try to send a picture of the error so I have to do it again from the start. After about 15 minutes of back and forth I get told that the live chat can't help me and I should put in another ban dispute. The problem is... my account has been overturned so I can't put in another ban dispute because there is no ban to dispute so my only option is ANOTHER ticket.

Now I've put in my third ticket and got a response asking for the email associated with my account so I reply to the email and see that it updates my ticket in the help screen, showing my response that I sent through the email and wait another day to get another response asking for my email again? I'm starting to feel like I'm crazy or doing something completely wrong. I don't know what I'm supposed to do when customer support via tickets and live chat don't seem to be helping me at all despite them agreeing that my ban should be over turned.

Hey @Arolux,

 

I'm sorry to hear that you've been having trouble accessing the game after the ban has been overturned. You're not doing anything wrong when contacting the Support. The reason they're are asking you for a different email address is to make sure they're checking the correct account where the sanction was applied.
