Just figured I'd pop in and share what I found.

My game would crash seemingly randomly with the bad_module_info error. Some days I could play a couple games before the crash, some days it would crash as soon as I opened the game.

I tried every fix I could find, including compatibility settings, rolling back drivers, reinstalling multiple times to multiple directories, launch options, etc.

I finally was able to fix this by going in to my BIOS and resetting everything to defaults, absolutely no issues a week later after doing that.

Hopefully this helps someone else, or perhaps it just gives one more thing to try.

[PC] Apex Legends - Disconecting / game exits with no error

★★★ Newbie

TLDR : Disconecting after almost every game / every 5th game or so the game exits with no error.

Fixes i tried so far :

  • latest gpu driver

  • latest windows version

  • repaired the game, updated the game

  • opened the ports that the game use

I've added DxDiag for my sys specs.

Explanation : After every game when I come back to the menu the game has issues reconecting. (1st problem)

Every 5th game or so while playing my game freezes and just exits to the desktop with no error,I'm not doing anything specific while that is happening. (2nd problem)

CTD randomly every other game. BAD_MODULE_INFO / NVLDDMKM CRASH (event log)

★ Apprentice

My event log says bad_module_info and nvlddmkm (nvidia driver) crash.
I removed OC on PC and graphics card and removed all overlay software (MSI Afterburner) and I still get the same. This is the only game I crash in. 8700K, 2080Ti, 418.81 drivers.
