Background Music Cutting in/out

Background sound is constantly restarting.

When playing campaign (haven't tried multiplayer) the background music plays for a second, then goes to the next "Track". It does this in the campaign select menu also. Has made the game entirely unplayable. When playing a mission, the sound plays for a second or two, then stops and starts again as if you were restarting a song over and over after hearing it for just a few seconds. 

I updated my MOBO BIOS, Chipset drivers, GPU drivers, deleted and re-installed the game. All other games/apps on my PC work fine, it is just BF1 that is messed up.
