Been running into the BSOD issues since the VIP demo as well. The first weekend I felt like I finally managed to get it under control by reinstalling the Nvidia drivers and got a solid couple of days of play, but this weekend I’ve tried all my previous ideas and gotten nowhere. I know people keep saying that the game is not responsible for the BSOD and that may be right, however either the game or Origin software seems to be causing file corruption or driver issues somewhere along the line.
The errors I was getting were:
I have verified that system files are clean, drivers are all up to date, RAM is not malfunctioning and temps are warm but nothing crazy. Never had any issues with my configuration at any point until installation of Origin and Anthem.
i7 7700k w/h100i cooler modest OC to 4.8Ghz
This is really disappointing.
Open beta weekend and it seems you kept the same build of the game.
Straight into bsod's again.
What a disgrace.
I got the same problem. BSOD's about 10 / 15 minutes in. I managed to finish 1 stronghold once and then never got the loot because of that BSOD.
I have the same issue. I have so many games and Anthem is the only game that goes to BSOD. I tried everything as same as itburns46.
I can't even get to the game menus. My PC crashes to BSOD right after the Frostbite and other logos. I get some people are saying "the game can't cause your PC to BSOD" well ok, sure I get that but my PC has NEVER done this before. I can play ANY OTHER game no issues at all with max settings.
My PC specs: 2080ti, i9 9900k, 32gb RAM. With nothing OCd other than using XMP profile for RAM.
Like I said before my PC runs ANY OTHER game fine, even battlefield v on max settings which uses the same engine (I think).
It's gotta be the game....
Ok it looks like it might be a issue with the game not alocating resources right.
I locked frames at 60 and everything's fixed.
Huge difference in system usage
I think I fixed it. All I did was update the BIOS of my motherboard to its latest version.
I played the stronghold 2x and no crashes or whatever.
It may just work for you.
