BFV Low GPU Usage with GTX 970 (60-70% at all times under dx11)

BF5 GPU usage hovers around 60 - 70% at all times under dx11. If I switch to DX12 it goes to 100% like it does in all other games, but the stuttering under dx12 BFV is terrible on my system.

My specs:

R5 2600 @ 4.0

gtx 970

16 gigs ddr4 3000

I used to be able to switch around the in game graphics and it would fix it, now it doesn't matter and GPU usage stays at 70% tops. My CPU usage jumps between 40 - 60%.  I've reinstalled drivers, repaired game, changed Nvidia settings for maximum performance and still nothing. There are zero problems with any other games I play so I'm completely perplexed on this one. Any help would be appreciated.

Try turning on FFR (Future Frame Rendering).

@BassMan_PC I just did, and it worked!? Why in the world. Oh well. It says it adds input lag so not sure how much i'll like that but it sent my frames up 30%. Thank you.

You're welcome.  If you want to maintain a balance between full GPU usage and lower input lag, then there is a simple trick...

Create a notepad document and paste the following into it and save: 

RenderDevice.RenderAheadLimit 2

Rename the document to user.cfg and make sure that file is placed in the BFV folder.  That's it.
