first time i load game it starts up lets me start to look in menu and then all of sudden the screen goes black and then comes up with no signal and goes to off. the computer is still running but i have to turn off and wait a min and then turn on and its fine and game will play fine. can someone help me with what might be wrong

What are your PC Specs, OS, and version of direct X? Do you get any error codes or error messages when the black screen occurs?
