So I bought my friend a copy of battlefield 5 on PC. Sadly we spend 4 f#cking hours getting it to work yesterday with no luck. So here we are.
The problem: When we start the game, it attempts to start. We see a windowed version of the game with nothing but white screen. It will then close battlefield 5 without any error message.
What we tried so far:
Repair origin and BFV
Clear Origin Cache
Turn off in-game overlays (discord, Nvidia, origin etc.)
Turn on and off dx12 by copying my settings folder to him (He did not get those files made, because his game wouldn't startup far enough for the files to be created)
Clean install of origin and BFV
Adjust the visual memory within windows (Windows did not allow this however)
Running both origin and BFV as admin
Turning off fullscreen optimisations in BFV (in startup compatibility)
Turned off firewall, antivirus etc.
Update windows 10
flashing the RAM
Clean boot of windows
bang our heads against the desk
All his PC specs meet the minimum and reccomended requirements (I can not be bothered with typing them all out :P)
Important notes: Using windows 10, and does NOT have a 2000 series GTX card (so no dx12 or raytrace)
(I tried to add a crashdump file, but the fileextension was not supported)
If anyone could read this post well and post actual awnsers that would be great

Hey @ApocalypticAI.
When you've got a chance could you share a DxDiag so we can take a look? You can find more info on how to pull one up over at the EA Help website.
Once you have the file please attach it to this thread. Thanks!
