Hi
Since a couple of weeks my bf1 started to have problems
The issue is when i open the game and join to a match after a couple of seconds
the game crashes
Something i noticed is my vram, when im runing bf1 the vram starts to fill up so fast
until it arrives to 2vram and bf1 closes
This same issue happens with BFV
Obviously i tried to use a low resolution and lowest settings but it did not work
i tried as well to run them with full screen optimization and it happens again
This wasn't happen before
actually i used to play BF1 on medium settings
i don't know if is a problem that came out with an update
someone else has or had this issue?
how did you fix it?
(All the drivers are well update in the newest version, w10 too)
My specs:
Ryzen 1500x
r9 270x sapphire 2vram
8gb ddr4

Hey @lDenji,
Sorry to hear about these crashing issues you're experiencing.
Here are some steps that you can try to resolve this:
1. Make sure you have Origin In-Game Overlay turned off in Origin, and the Battlefield 1 Game Properties in Origin
2. Manually Uninstall/Reinstall Origin:
https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/origin/origin/manually-uninstalling-origin/
3. Clear Origin Cache:
https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/clear-cache-to-fix-problems-with-your-games/
4. Clean Boot:
https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/how-to-clean-boot-your-pc/
5. Make sure you're running DX11 in game, instead of DX12
Try these steps, and let us know if you're still experiencing crashing issues.
Thanks

Hey @lDenji,
Sorry to hear you're still having crashing issues.
May I ask which version of Windows you're running at the moment?
Have you tried upgrading to Windows Version 1803?
Thanks

In guessing that all other games run fine and without problems. If so you can truly say that BF1 is the sole problem? If not it might be a part of hard or software causing the game to act this way. Here are some important steps that might help:
0] Remove all overclocks from the system and graphics card (BIOS UEFI, etc).
0.1] Remove videocard from the PC and clean with a brush or H2O-free compressed air, also clean the CPU cooler and all other dust from the system.
1] Use a driver cleaner to remove the old driver: https://www.guru3d.com/files_details/display_driver_uninstaller_download.html
3] Get the latest driver for the GPU and AMD chipset and install them.
4] Remove the BF1 configuration folder from the user\documents folder and restart the game.
5] Look for a new BIOS/UEFI for the motherboard and firmware for the Graphicscard on the supplier website and install them.

same thing on xbox since the beta.... it is a server or network or code issue on EA's end... has to be!
