BATTLEFIELD V WONT LOAD

Hello - I reinstalled Bf5 on the PC yesterday and since then i have no been able to load the game, i click play and nothing happens, origin just re-opens and you can click play once again, nothing loads in the task manager either.

My Nvidia  drivers are on the latest drivers and im on the latest version of windows 10.  I have tried cleaning cache in both program data and app data but it still wont load (it used to open fine).

Is there anything else  i can try ?

Problem solved - I right click on the game in origin and selected repair, it downloaded 10gb of files and now it works.

Have you tried to restart the computer?

Make sure the game is fully installed (check files) and updated (check updates)

You could try too delete the settings folder from documents\battlefield 5

or try this: https://help.ea.com/en-gb/help/origin/origin/manually-uninstalling-origin/#hard-way

if it does not help please post a DXdiag

You could also consider a driver cleaner and Windows cleanboot

Hi, yes restarted many times, unfortunately I’m now at work but before I left I tried the repair function on the game and it started to download around 3gb of data, I’m guessing potentially something went wrong with the latest update, once I’m home I’ll see if these redownloaded files make the difference and update accordingly.

Got the same problem since 3 days now. BFV won't start, it chrashes to desktop  5 sec after launch.

@EA_Atic Yea, and i did a fresh install of windows today, with no luck. It wont even start now, could it be the new update of windows (1903)?

It wont launch..uninstalled everything on origin.....reinstalled and BF V still wont launch.....BF 4 and everything else is fine....really hopeless

I am having the same problem, fresh win 10 install, new game BF5, start on origin results in origin "leaving" for a few sec, only to return without bf5 running. No explaination or fault code. What to do?
