Audio cutting out on start up [ Edited ]

Hey everyone.

I'm having a problem with Apex keep distorting/cutting the audio immediately when the game starts up. It's honestly annoying & I really don't know how to fix this.

I've tried restarting my PC, Running the game as administrator, & repairing the game.

Specs

RTX 2070 Super

Ryzen 5 3600

16GB Ram @ 3200MHz

2 TB HDD 

500GB SSD (Apex is installed on here)

Also, I'm using an Xbox One controller with an adapter like this is for audio.

Hey @athyrs. 

What happens if you start up the game without the controller adapter connected? Are you hearing the same audio distortion, or is it only happening while the sound is going through the adapter?

The audio only cuts out when I'm using my controller as a audio output and my mic also doesn't work in the menu but it will in a match same goes for audio it does not work in menu but works in game
