Apex randomly seizing up, but not crashing

I don't freeze to the point of having to restart the game, at least not often. It seems that the game has these random spurts where it will completely seize. People that I play with describe me as "stopping and going" instead of just walking in place like some lag appears. I have updated all of my drivers, I have double checked the graphic and ram standards for the game. All my plugs are tight and snug. I really have no idea what else to do to fix my PC. I have run virus checks and defrag on my new SSD. Looking for help.
