I have the same issue; it did stop for a while until the last update then it started again.
My setup:
Windows 10 Pro
ASUS X470-F Gaming
Ryzen 2700x
G.Skill TridentZ @2866mhz 14-14-14-34 timings
MSI RX480 Gaming (8gb)
I am starting to get where I cant even play it anymore which makes me sad cause I get a new monitor on sat. (finally moving up to 27" 144Hz) and I wont be able to play this game cause all it wants to do is crash or crash my whole * PC.

Hello everynyan.
I had bad module info all Apexlife. Every game was crashed. I tryed everything and don't help me. I gave up but then I decided to try this.
1. Disable second monitor by "Windows" + "P". Only main monitor. (i think it's not main problem).
2. Origin game setting: +fps_max 35. Change min settings in game(my settings is low-medium, I changed it after I tryed low settings) and turn off vsync.
(I don't know what exactly works out of these two points. I did all points)
And it works for me. you can up your +fpx_max to 25, 45, 60,80,100...I change it to 45.
+fps_max 60 doesn't work for me and i changed it to 45 again.
As I understand GPU must work lower 100% in my PC.
Now I can play 5-7 hours without crashes. I don't played longer.
I hope it can help someone.
Sorry for my English.
My PC specs:
Win 10 x64 Pro
CPU: Intel 3450 3.1Ghz
RAM: 6 GB 3DDR RAM
VIDEO: AMD HD 6970 2GB
Motherboard: MSI h61m-p31/w8
Thanks for attention.

Uhmmm.. just contacted the customer service on the phone.
The dude said he's not aware of any problem and IF there even is a problem, not enough people are reporting it so it's negligeble.
Also that there's no patch coming from Respawn.
The only thing he tried to do was send me a copy/pasta e-mail with troubleshoot options, which I've tried before but they're not allowed to believe us.
The dude may have just been a drone, but if it was a BIG issue for EA he would've had a basic reply to adress the issue.
Hope it get fixted soon, but it looks to me like they don't know or care about this till it gets bigger.

4 games tried.
1st instant after 5 seconds the Device hung error. ok maybe a bit my fault for using the most recent nvidia drivers.
2nd game in top 3 about to engage, straight to desktop crash without error.
3rd game win, actually no crash
4th game after 3 mins of looting random memory could not be read crash.
thats just from today. wrote about the fun expirience of 50% of games crashing across 6 different people when doing pickups yesterday for a few hours already in another post.
fun expirience. if this game wouldnt be so damn good i wouldve quit long ago.

I frequently was experiencing the badmodule crash and others without an error code. (maybe one in five games i would crash)
As part of the process of trying fix and narrow down the cause of the crashes I was going through and updating a single driver / piece of software and then playing until I crashed at least 2 times.
During this process I noticed that the update I installed for Intel RST made stability significantly worse. (I am using 1 nvme ssd and 1 non nvme ssd both with up to date firmware.)
After removing Intel RST I no longer have had any crashes and I've played about 200 games since then.
Also, this may or may not be of note but, I had origin installed on one drive and apex on the other other.

Thank you for sharing that. Are you saying you STILL have Origin and Apex on different drives or moved them to the same drive?
Also a quick update for those with an RTX 20 Series be on the lookout for a new driver soon.
