★★★ Guide

@AvramDavid69Try to start EAC manually through the windows services.

1. Open your start menu and search for services.msc (start it as admin)
2. Locate EasyAntiCheat and right click
3. Select "Start"

Now try to launch the game again.

If this work, and this is a re-occurring issue, then you can use task scheduler to start the service when login into your PC. Get back to me and I'll hit you up with some instructions on how to do that.

Can't get past anti-cheat start-up after routine windows 10 update.

★★★ Newbie

So I did a routine windows 10 update last night and now I am having issues starting apex, gives me error code 29 after the anti-cheat bar attempts to load all the way then stops. Repairing/Restoring hasn't helped.

Error Code: 29 (Game client encountered an application error.)

Hi @psychthesage

Are you currently running any sort of RGB lighting management software on your PC? I've seen some cases where Easy Anti-Cheat can run into some issues with that particular type of software. If you do have anything like that on your PC can you try disabling it to see if that helps at all?
