Apex hit reg is TERRIBLE

Been happening since ive started playing again, ill shoot someone see the effects and hear the shots hit them, but i dont get any damage from it and it does nothing to them?? WHATTT ive been losing so many games because of this, everything on my end is fine?? And i even use the proper DNS (8.8.8.8) has anyone else had this problem this season?? And do you know ho to fix it or at the very least make it more tolerable?
