First of all sorry if this has been adressed already but i did not manage to find the topic.
So I bought a new legion y740, installed windows 10 and installed apex legends.
As soon as i entered the game the color spectrum changed to a greenish tint. that's when i realized something is wrong.
I immediately hit alt-tab to See what I can do about it and the screen froze. Game music still plays in the background but the laptop is completely unresponsive. Only thing that works is a force shutdown from the physical power button.
This scenario happened multiple times. Sometimes it would freeze without alt tab. Sometimes it would freeze upon launching the game.
I tried everything (update drivers, disable all overlays etc) with no luck so I formated the ssd and started fresh. Same issue. Then I thought to turn the windows hdr off and the problem was fixed.
What i want to know is:
1. Why is happening?
2. Is it just me or it happened to someone else?
3. Is there anything i can do to run the game with hdr on?
