Apex Won't Download - Unavailable Location

I've previously played a bunch of Apex Legends with no issue whatsoever. However, with the recent update I got the error:

Download Error

Origin is not able to download Apex Legends™ to .

Please check that the location is available or cancel and restart the download to another location

No location is listed, it appears as above. I did not change the download location prior to updating. I have tried changing the download location, reinstalling the game (now I have to re download the whole game and get the same error) and reinstalling the origin launcher all with no help. I can download other games from Origin, but Apex itself will not work. I have tried this method as well https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=65SVULJcv_o again with no fix.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Really missing this game.

hi.. 

i had the same problem.. the solution for me was to quit origin and relaunch it as an adminstrator, right click origin and select run as administrator then simply download the game..
