Apex Legends thinks computer is Offline when starting up

The VPN thing worked for me.

1. Download ProtonVPN for free and connect to any VPN

2. Start Apex and wait at the title screen where it tells you to left click your mouse to start (but don't... yet)

3. After about 30 seconds, hit escape on your keyboard, but then click cancel. You should now see a third option along the bottom allowing you to pick your server.

4. Pick a server nearest to your actual location

5. Enter the game

6. Tab out and stop your VPN

7. Play

I did this I even formatted my PC didn't work, I was playing fine, then I got off for 2 hrs hopped back on and this happened spent 5 hrs troubleshooting after that

The pop-up saying I'm offline happens before the title screen.the game never loads to the title screen..

So you're able to get to the title screen with the error? I'm not even able to get to that point.the game never opens

Just tried the proxy method and still nothing.... there has to be a fix somewhere. I’ve literally tried everything

The vpn worked connected to apex as if I was in Canada, closed it turned vpn off and connected normally and worked

try releasing and renewing your ip adress through command prompt seemed to work for me without using a vpn
