Apex Legends keeps crashing after 3 minutes.

★★★ Novice

My game keeps on crashing. It happens a couple minutes after landing. The same thing happens every time which is: Land, loot, kill a team, loot again  and then the game crashes.

I updated my drivers to the latest Nvidia ones on 7/9/2019 (v431.36).

I also installed all of the latest windows updates which were:

  1. 2019-07 Cumulative Update .NET Framework 3.5, 4.8 for Windows 10 Version 1903 for x64 (KB4506991)
  2. 2019-07 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1903 for x64-based Systems (KB4507453)

As soon as I installed those and did a quick reboot the game has become unplayable. It always crashes within 3-5 minutes of playing.

Hey, so after that night my game actually doesn't seem to be having any issues. Again, these issue happened right after the latest windows updates were installed and latest drivers were installed. Not sure If I needed an extra reboot or whatever.

I will still be uploading my DxDiag just incase it provides any extra information for you but I should be fine for now.

Hey, @uhExile

Would you mind uploading a DxDiag for us so we can look at your full system specs? Let's see what we can do to troubleshoot this for you. Do you currently have Sleep Mode enabled in your PC power settings and have you tried any other troubleshooting like reinstalling the game?

In your first response you were on Windows 10 build 1903 and now in the DxDiag you're on the latest version, so maybe there were some updates that were in the process of being installed that eventually finished.

Glad it's working now though, see you in Kings Canyon!
