Apex Legends has said resuming update for 1 week.

I have waited for Sims 4 to update for a week but I can't until Apex Legends updates but it has been resuming for a week!

Right click on Apex in Origin and then click Repair, follow any on-screen instructions regarding rebooting etc.

Once all of that is done, you should be able to update The Sims 4 and also Apex if you want to.
