Apex Legends - Unable to Update

I have recently returned to PC to play various games that I haven't revisited in a while. Apex Legends is one of these games, and in the process of re-downloading the Origin client, and the game itself, I have run into a strange issue.

The issue I have been presented with is that the game requires a 25.39 GB update (as I said previously, it's been a while) but when I attempt to complete said update, it will update up to 8.83 Gb exactly, and then halt entirely. The Origin client will continue to say "Preparing" as if it is still making progress. but no progress whatsoever will be made. It's worth mentioning that I am still able to navigate all of the menus on the Origin store/client, the only issue is with the download. I have attempted restarting my PC, logging out and back in to Origin, and the only thing I have not tried is uninstalling and reinstalling the game itself.

Has anyone else had this happen to them? If so how did you fix it?

Have you already tried this?
Click on Apex Legends in the Origin Gamelibrary -> Settings -> Repair game.
After that, restart your origin and your Apex should start to download Again.

If this didn't do the trick, try to clear the origin cache.
