Same issue, played fine first 2 days now infinite loading screen. Created a new account and game works no problems...

I am having the same issue. I played for a couple hours in the morning, took an hour break and tried to load up again then it started happening to me. Only on my main account, I created a second and it worked fine. I wonder if its an issue with maybe their servers or the cloud still saying you're account is in game which wont let you load into the game twice?

Same issue here. Have contacted EA Help multiple times. I have repaired the game, reset my Origin cashe, reinstalled the game, restarted my pc, and rolled back my nvidia drivers. Please help.

Same issue here. Played fine past 2 days now I cannot play anymore on my main account, creating a new account gives me the ability to play.
When I talked with EA Help, they said a patch was incoming. Any news on this? Really want to get back to playing.

I hope they get a patch soon on the game. Either for the problem and the 'Return to the combat area' after falling the ship.
Really want to start playing again, I'm going crazy over here. Hopefully a patch is released within a few hours...
